RelocationTR · Turkey
Accounting services for ecommerce businesses in Turkey
A marketplace seller does not receive its sales total: it receives a payout net of commissions, fulfilment, advertising and refunds. Unless those reports are broken down, revenue, expenses and stock in the books will not agree with the bank. RelocationTR works with your SMMM accountant to reconcile marketplace settlements, invoices and inventory.
Discuss the scopeTypical situations
Sellers usually contact us when:
- They sell on several marketplaces and their own site, and payouts do not match sales.
- Refunds and cancellations are missing from the books or recorded twice.
- Stock held at the marketplace warehouse differs from the ledger.
- Commissions, fulfilment and ads are booked as one deduction with no breakdown.
- E-invoice volume grows faster than the accountant can reconcile.
Document flow
Each sales channel needs its own data set:
- Marketplace reports on sales, refunds, commissions and deductions.
- E-invoices to buyers and the marketplace's invoices for its services.
- Payment provider data for orders on your own site.
- Inventory data: receipts, dispatches, returns and stock at the marketplace warehouse.
- Bank statements showing marketplace payouts.
Accounting tasks
The core task is breaking each payout into its parts:
- Reconcile marketplace sales reports with issued invoices.
- Separate revenue from commissions, fulfilment, advertising and other deductions.
- Record refunds and cancellations and their effect on stock.
- Reconcile marketplace payouts with the bank.
- Reconcile book stock with marketplace and warehouse data.
Deliverables
Within the agreed scope:
- A monthly reconciliation for each sales channel.
- Channel profitability after all deductions.
- A list of mismatches in invoices, payouts and stock.
- A documented reconciliation routine your team can follow.
What we need to get started

- Monthly orders and refunds.
- One monthly marketplace report and the matching payout.
- Where stock is held and how inventory is recorded.
Who is responsible for what
The SMMM accountant keeps the books and files returns. RelocationTR organises reconciliation of marketplace, invoice, inventory and bank data and reports to the owner. Do not send marketplace logins through the form; how reports are exported is agreed separately.
Not included
Unless agreed separately:
- Opening or managing marketplace stores.
- Integrations or software development for data exports.
- Marketing and advertising.
- Disputes with marketplaces or buyers.
Pricing factors
We prepare a tailored quote based on:
- Number of sales channels and payment providers.
- Order and refund volume.
- Number of SKUs and warehouses.
- Whether reports can be exported automatically.
Frequently asked questions
- Why is the marketplace payout lower than sales?
- The marketplace deducts commission, fulfilment, advertising and refunds. To reconcile, the payout is broken into those parts using the marketplace report.
- How are refunds handled?
- A refund affects both revenue and stock. The accountant agrees how it is recorded; we check that marketplace data, invoices and stock agree.
- Do we need to share marketplace passwords?
- No. Do not send passwords through the form. We agree a separate way of receiving reports, such as exports from your team.
